All of these factors, temperament, home environment, and owner, make each dog unique. It’s important to have a good understanding of each in order to properly train a dog. In-home training allows your trainer to see the full picture of your dog’s situation by allowing them to observe your living situation, meet you, and your dog all at once. Your trainer is then able to create a unique training plan of action with goals that fit your needs.

There are often things in the home that need to be adjusted, removed, or added in order to better facilitate your dog’s training. Just like adjustments may need to be made to your home, adjustments will need to be made in you as well. In fact, we often say that dog training is really people training. This is inevitably true because when we leave your home after a lesson, only you will be able to maintain consistency with your dog and keep them on their path of good behavior.
